Lavanant Linke Mezzo-soprano

After studying sculpture at the Beaux Arts de Paris School of Art, Solenn' discovered her vocation for lyrical art with Gary Magby at the HEM in Lausanne. Immediately after her diploma, she was engaged in the opera studio of Theater Basel (2009) and continued this collaboration as an ensemble member under the direction of Dietmar Schwarz and Georges Delnon, while the house was repeatedly awarded the title of 'Opera House of the Year'. She sang Medee at the Zurich Opera, Cherubino at the Bavarian State Opera, Donna Elvira at the Lucerne Theater, Elle in 'La voix humaine' in Geneva, Carmen and Dorabella with Calixto Bieito in Basel. At the Festival d'Aix en Provence she sang roles such as Ottavia, Dido and Ippolita under the direction of Leonardo García Alarcón. In 21/22 she appeared on stage as Artist in Residence at the Staatstheater Mainz as Orlofsky, Haensel, Ramiro and Piacere. With the MDR Symphony Orchestra she gave concerts in the Erfurt Cathedral and in the Gewandhaus Leipzig. Since the 21/22 season, Solenn' Lavanant Linke has been an ensemble member of the Lucerne Theater. Recently she performed in 'Duke Bluebeard's Castle', 'Der Rosenkavalier' as well as in 'Alcina' at the Lucerne Theater. At Theater Basel she takes on the role of Fricka in 'Ring des Nibelungen'.
