Marion Schmid obtained her diploma as a fashion designer at the Bellecour School in 1999. Schmid was a freelance seamstress for a year, before joining the costume workshop of the Grand-Théâtre de Genève. Since 2009, Schmid has been working as a freelance costume designer for theatre and dance.
