Karat
Kila Dancer

Karat Kila is a French dancer, born in Kinshasa, in the Democratic republic of Congo. He started his dance career in France as a freelance artist, where he worked with various choreographers. Karat joined the Ballet Junior de Genève, where he studied different techniques, such as ballet, contemporary and improvisation. Throughout his dance career, Karat has danced works by Emmanuel Gat, Jan Martens, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Hofesh Shechter, Cathy Marston, Sharon Eyal, Pierre Pontvianne, and Anne-Caroline Okretic. Karat joined Ballett Basel in August 2023.
