Altovino Dancer

Giacomo Altovino is an Italian dancer, born and raised in Catania, Sicily. He received his training in A.S.D.C. Dietro le Quinte and with a scholarship he finished his studies at the Hamburg Ballet School John Neumeier. He became a member of the NRW Juniorballett Dortmund, Ballett Dortmund in Germany and is a current member of Basel Theater in Switzerland since 2018. Throughout his dance career, he has danced works by Johan Inger, Sharon Eyal, Edward Clug, Alexander Ekman, Mauro Bigonzetti, Jacopo Godani, William Forsythe, Benjamin Millepied, Itzik Galili, Richard Wherlock among others. Giacomo performed at the Benois de la Danse-Defile of the Stars and New Laureates in 2017.
