Kerr Jr. Dancer

Carlos Kerr Jr. is a Belizean American artist from New York. He studied at the F. H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art & Performing Arts before receiving a bachelor's degree in dance from the Ailey Fordham BFA Program in Lincoln Center with honors. Carlos' artistic journey spans international stages with numerous companies, including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Rubberband Dance Group, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Theater Ulm, Luzerner Theater, and Snorkel Rabbit. As a choreographer, Carlos' works have been presented at Springboard Danse Montreal, Dance Gallery Festival in Texas, Tanzfest Schweiz, and Dance Basel. Carlos is also a dance educator, gyrokinesis practitioner, composer, photographer, and filmmaker. His curiosity led him to a Master Certificate in Advanced Sciences in Health & Performance. As of August 2023, Carlos joined Ballett Basel.
